Classes from elementary to advanced levels are available. Students will be placed into the appropriate level after taking a language placement test.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>General Education courses<br \/><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">These courses provide students a wide range of knowledge and skills including, basic knowledge about historical ideologies, critical thinking skills in modern society, specific techniques, and independence. Various types of courses such as foreign language studies, Japanese cultures, career designing, sports, and law are open to all students regardless of major. Some courses are taught in English.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Undergraduate courses<br \/>*Only students who are deemed to have sufficient Japanese language proficiency are eligible to enroll.<br \/><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">The courses include high level academic subjects related to majors that enable students to learn field-specific knowledge as well as improve Japanese language ability.<br \/>The following Japanese language proficiency levels are required for enrolling in departmental course:<\/span><br \/>JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) | N2 or above<br \/>J. TEST (Practical Japanese Proficiency Test) | Grade C or above<br \/>JPT (Japanese Proficiency Test) | 525 or above<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #800000;\">2\uff09Language Partner<\/span><\/h5>\n<p>Exchange students will have language buddies called \u201cLanguage Partners\u201d who will support their living in Japan. Each exchange student will meet two language partners soon after arrival and can ask them anything about living in Japan.
